This is full of old legacy shares from many years ago, where companies were bought out or merged, or I sold my shares without realising they'd gone ex-div and past the record date, so I ended up with a few tiny amounts in various companies. ReplyDeleteHi DivHut, thx for stopping by. I made a few purchases in small amounts, earlier on this year (Vodafone, Aberdeen, JD, BAE) and bought Carillion separately. I am buying more Carillion within the next 4-5 days, then I am hoping to buy more BAE and Sainsbury's in September and October respectively. I am only making small purchases, as this Summer has been pretty expensive for us, but I have goals of increasing my contributions this year and next.

I should have said "Aberdeen Asset Management" in the above. I am not a huge fan of financials (mostly bank stocks), but they are not a bank I suppose. Inchcape are involved in car financing
